Mallard Creek Oil Company, LP

Mallard Creek Oil Company LP, (MCO), is a privately held oil and gas company based in Houston, Texas. MCO’s primary focus is in the Powder River Basin of Wyoming. We are also active in other basins in Texas and North Dakota.  While recently organized, the principles of MCO have been actively engaged in the oil and gas industry since 1971.

MCO and its associates control 4,200 net acres in five separate prospects in Campbell County, Wyoming, in the fairway of the Parkman, Turner, Niobrara, and Mowry horizontal activity. MCO has one developing Minnelusa prospect, and the horizontal Muddy/Dakota is prospective MCO acreage. MCO’s ownership varies by formation, NRI varies by lease and all acreage is HBP by conventional oil production.

MCO seeks industry partners to assist in the developing of its multiple objective acreage in the southwest corner of T44N, R72W, Campbell County, Wyoming, offsetting significant Parkman and Turner production in T43N, R72W.

MCO seeks to monetize certain non‐operated acreage in Wyoming. Operators have permitted several Parkman and Turner one and two mile horizontal wells on MCO acreage.
